We have been very busy over the winter months.  Tom Stone has completed taking inventory of the 1930 Tax Records.  The pictures of the houses and buildings back in 1930 are awesome to see!

I (Kathleen) have been busy working on the Cemetery Project, uploading pictures and information to Findagrave.com. The pictures on Findagrave.com are low quality, if you want a high resolution picture of a grave marker, please contact us.  We do charge a fee for these pictures.

Started a Page on Facebook for us, type in Bridgton Historical Society or just click like on our website.  We have 2 on Facebook a page and a group.  The Group will be more for research and the Page will be for events and announcements.

I am working on the Genealogy for some of the families of Bridgton, starting with the first families of Bridgton.

Jon Evans is working with Land for Good for the property by Narramissic; we are finding interesting things that can be done with the land that is a part of Narramissic.

Lega is busy working on Connections, and she has started a newspaper article that will be published every 2 weeks on The Bridgton News!  So far, 2 articles and they are very interesting to read!  It is a Great addition to the local newspaper.

Cherie is busy with the memberships, keeping it updated, etc.

Ann is back with us after going home for the winter.  She does an awesome job with the Volunteers!

Please stay tuned during the summer months.  We have a lot of great events coming up.  Grand Opening on June 23rd.  That is the Grand Opening of the Gibbs Museum; Ned has done an awesome job putting everything up for display.  It amazes me how much we have on hand to tell of the history of our wonderful town!

Saturday we had our Work & Picnic Day at Narramissic.  It looks GREAT!!  Everyone pitched in and did a wonderful job!
